• The Transport Development Group has joined forces with the Freight Transport Association in a bid to reduce forklift accidents and help benefit companies financially.
The FTA has published its new Lift Truck Operating Safety Guide which details the current standards and offers improved advice on a number of forklift safety issues.

• Geest North Sea Line, the Rotterdam-based short-sea shipping, distribution and logistics company, has launched a service linking the UK, Holland and Denmark in association with the Danish transport logistics provider Trans-ship.
