Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

by Brian Weatherley • Scania is rumoured to be revising the interior of its 4-Series Topline high-roof sleeper cab in time for next year's Amsterdam show in February.

The reworked interior is expected to feature twin bunks mounted on the rear cab wall in place of the existing layout which has the main (upper) bunk above the driver's head (right).

By mounting the main bed at the front of the cab—where the header rail would normally be—Scania has been able to offer an extremely wide (860mm) top bunk. But this has been at the expense of overhead locker space, which has attracted criticism from long-haul operators looking for more stowage room inside the cab.

To meet the demand from operators for a more conventional layout Dutch Scania distributor Beers has been offering its own conversion package. It is not known if this would form the basis of the new interior, or if Scania will continue to offer a frontmounted bunk layout.
