Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEGOTIATIONS are taking place between AEC Ltd. and London Transport to establish an AEC service depot at the LTB Aldenham works in Hertfordshire. London Transport is reorganizing the overhaul procedure at this, its main bus body works, to allow for the gradual fall in the size of the bus fleet, and one third of the space—on the west side of the building—will become free. It is proposed to lease this area to AEC.

The changes at Aldenham will result in a reduction of 300 in the staff employed there over the next 12 months. Most of these men will be redeployed in other sections of LTB. Full details have already been worked out in agreement with the unions involved.

Strachens Bodies for Iran: The Iranian Oil Exploration and Producing Co. Ltd. has ordered a further 40 Pacesaver II and 24 30-seat bus bodies from Strachans (CoachbuRders) Ltd., Htunble, Hants.

Passenger Study: Grimsby and CLeethorpes Joint Transport Undertaking has just completed its latest survey of passenger travel to give a picture of travel needs and other matters and will be considering the results during the next few weeks.
