Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Securicor has agreed a 1167m deal to sell its 50% stake in express and logistics divisions Securicor Omega Holdings (SOW to German postal operator Deutsche Post.

Divisions included in the sale are Securicor Omega Express, Securicor Omega Logistics, Omega Container Logistics and Securicor FuelServ. Between them, they employ 12,000 people.

On completion of the deal, Deutsche Post will Own 100% of SOH, leaving Securicor to focus solely on its cash and security businesses.

Nick Buckles, group chief executive of Secuncor, first mooted the idea publicly last year ( CM19 Dec 2002-1Jan 2003).

He says: "We have stated our goal to become a global topthree provider of security solutions. The divestment of our stake in distribution is a further
