• Following the report published by the National Economic Development Office— "Motor Vehicle Distribution and Repair"-the Champion Sparking Plug Co. has announced plans to aid the skilled mechanic. The report points out that only about onequarter of the trade's 423,000 operatives are skilled workers.
On July 1 Champion will publish the first issue of Motor Mail—a journal for mechanics —and the company also plans to sponsor a Mechanic of the Year competition.
