Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE need for easily removable warn' ing signs, to enable users of the road to have some previous notice of a military road block, often unseen beyond a distance of a few yards, was emphasized in Parliament last week by Sir Ralph Glyn. Sir John Reith said there were already warning' signs in some places, and steps were being taken to provide them as quickly as possible wherever required.

To a suggestion that all local *authorities should use the same form of warning sign, the Minister of Transport said he quite realized the relevance of the suggestion and would have it considered.
