Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

II If there is enough interest in a new security marking scheme for agricultural trailers, it could be extended to truck semi-trailers and drawbars.

Dyfed Powys police are encouraging local farmers to mark their postcodes on the tops of their trailers. If one subsequently goes missing, the force's helicopter can more easily identify it from the air.

Police cars parked on bridges over motorways and dual carriageways have a better chance of spotting it too.

PC Ellis Davies, who is helping to organise the scheme, says there's no reason why hauliers shouldn't mark their trailers in a similar way. He suggests that they use a different fleet number for each unit.

"Most police cars have markings on the roof so that they can be identified from the air, and it's only a development of that idea," he says. "The cost of doing it is negligible."
