May I through the columns of your excellent journal make a comment regarding Mr Russell's letter (CM, January 13).
What is the good of fighting the issue after it has become law? Surely the problem concerning the rates recommendations should have been deliberated before the Restrictive Trade Peactices Act 1976.
What on earth do we pay you for Mr Russell? Good luck, I say, to Mike Wells and the drivers of Grimsby and, in fact, any organisation prepared to stand and fight the mass of legislation at present heading in our direction.
