Here's how you gain with York's plated trailing axlc
Soon you won't be able to operate a vehicle designed for 12 tons grdss with a payload of 7-8 tons at the 14 ton limit. With plating it's against the law. What do you do?
Use five 12 tonners where you formerly used four? Obviously not. Do you switch to heavy duty 16 ton four wheelers? No because payload may well be limited to 9 tons by critical axle loadings and wheelbase must be at least 12 ft. to qualify.
The real answer is a 12 ton chassis with a York Trailing Axle.
