Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• UK and French hauliers are owed thousands of pounds following the liquidation of freight forwarder Mckay International Services, based in Marden, Kent. The liquidation is being handled by Nick Coulter, of McCabe, Ford and Williams; he says hauliers should get about 30p in the pound.

At a creditors' meeting earlier this week it was revealed that total liabilities stand at around £117,000. Most of the creditors are French, says Coulter.

Mckay, which had been trading for two years, handled freight between the UK. France and Germany.

It was a "two-man band operation", says Coulter, with turnover below £500,000.
