• TNT is appealing against an industrial tribunal decision to award 13 former employees £80,000 compensation after they were sacked for going on strike (CM 13-19 Feb).
It blames an "anomaly" in the law which allowed the tribunal to ignore the "blameworthy conduct" of the 13 employees. It says it wants to protect other employers.
