• "The Total Concept of Physical Distribution Management" is the title of a four day symposium arranged jointly by the Centre for Physical Distribution (of the British Institute of Management) and the Dexion Group. It will be held at King's College, Cambridge, from September 5-8.
Four one-day related seminars dealing respectively with freight transport developments, inventory management, control and monitoring of a distribution system. and warehousing are listed for September 9. 21, 23 and 28, all to be held at Charing Cross Hotel, London, WC2.
"Vehicle Route Planning" (October 5, Piccadilly Hotel, London W1), "Distribution in the 80s" (October 7, Cafe Royal Regent Street, London W I) and "Costing your transport for maximum profit– (October 13 and 14, Piccadilly Hotel, London WI) are other courses of interest to transport management.
