Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

airport delays

CARRYFAST is to introduce a new service aimed at avoiding the delays at major European airports by running a van service to Copenhagen.

Consignments will be collected anywhere in Britain on Fridays for delivery in Copenhagen on Mondays. A second departure on Wednesday will be delivering on Friday.

Deliveries for other parts of Denmark will be effected on the same days using a transshipment service at Esbjerg or Herning the previous day.

Carryfast has conducted research that shows that Dublin, Schipol, Milan, Madrid and Copenhagen were among the most congested airpirts in Europe.

A spokesman commented: "It is our intention to provide a surface alternative to these short haul air routes for at least half the cost of the comparable airfreight."

The company will offer special customs registration in Denmark to give a service claimed to be as quick as any airline.
