• The Greater Glasgow Passenger Transport Authority was formally constituted on April 19 in terms of the 1972 Order and advertised in the area served. It will have the "general duty to secure and promote the provision of a properly integrated arRI efficient system of public passenger transport to meet the needs of the area". Offices are at 48 St Vincent Street, Glasgow.
Glasgow Corporation transport committee is to discuss with the new Greater Glasgow PTA the question of the assets and liabilities to be taken Over and in particular
• the question of the accumulated deficit.
