• Carlyle Vehicles of Birmingham is to take over production of the Duple body design on the Dennis Dart chassis.
Another 40 bodies will be built at Blackpool, followed by 10 for completion at Birmingham while jigs are transferred. Carlyle hopes to be in full production by next March.
The Dart bodywork was not included in the Plaxton purchase of Duple assets from Trinity Holdings (CM 20-26 July).
