DAIMLER-BENZ is set to acquire a majority shareholding in AEG, the West (;erman company whose areas of activity include telecommunications, satellite technology, m i cro-electronics, in ilitary equipineiit and household goods.
It the deal is approved Daimler-Benz will become West Germany's biggest company.
It is clear that 1)aiinlerBenz sees the truck and car of the future becoming much more of a so-called high technology product.
