IAST Thursday, the executive com.!—+ Mittee of the Rodd Haulage Association considered the resolutions debated at the R.H.A. annual conference which was held at Bournemouth last week.

The resolution welcoming the idea of the National Productivity Year was accordingly passed by the committee to the British Productivity Council. Sent to the insurance panel for comment was the seventh resolution, which said that full third-party cover should be the minimum insurance requirement for all road vehicles, and a resolution asking that fuel oil suppliers should make known to the haulage industry the specification of fuel supplied was passed to the vehicles committee which has already diScussed this point.

A resolution that the Construction and Use Regulations be amended, so as 10 require the fitting of a dual braking system to all new vehicles exceeding three tons ,unladen weight, was referred to he .vehicles committee 'for it to make comment.
