• MAN is strengthening its penetration of the all-wheel drive truck market. The UK's first F2000 6x6 has entered service with Denbighshire County Council, which needs general-purpose trucks wah high traction levels. As a result, the FE310A has lower suspension and tyre profile than a pure off-reader.
Further north, one of Grampian Fire Brigade's four new 4x4s is is in royal service, being deployed at the fire station on the Queen's Balmoral estate. The 14-tonners have six-seater crew cabs and bodies by Emergency One Ltd.
