A SEMINAR on alternative fuel systems and vehicle productivity is being organised by the transport and distribution specialist group of the Institute of Management Services, at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, on July 20.

The three papers will explain the implications of alternative fuel systems, examining the case for gas and electric vehicles, rather than petrol.

The seminar, particularly aimed at the light commercial vehicle operations, will also discuss the choice between petrol and diesel.

Speakers are Don Gribble, chairman of the Electric Vehicle Association, D. J. Westerside, chairman of Landi-Hartog, and David MacLeod, distribution development manager for Scottish and Newcastle Breweries.

The seminar fee is £45 and can be booked through Membership Services Department, Institute of Management Services, 1 Cecil Court, London Road, Enfield, Middlesex, EB2 6DD.
