PACCAR, the American truck manufacturer and parent company of Daf, is celebrating its 100th birthday this year with full-page adverts in the Financial Times. The company, which boasts it has never made a loss in a century of trading, lists its accomplishments over the past year. These include a record-breaking financial performance and being named as one of the top 50 companies in the prestigious Business Week magazine list.
Other marques in Paccar's portfolio include US firms Peterhilt and Kenworth and the classic UK name, Foden.
