MUNICIPAL Trailers of Bamber Bridge, Preston built this four-axled step-frame semi-trailer for Scottish Land Plant Hire at Bathwell. It will be used to carry the huge WABCO 333F Tractor Elevating Scraper weighing 60 tons.

Constructed to an overall length of 16.3m (53ft 6in), a width of 2.9m (9ft 6in) with a platform height of 0.9 (3ft), it can be converted to standard by bridging the wheel recresses with the foredeck ramps supplied.

Other unusual features include a dual reversible kingpin, a manual operated lifting rear axle and hand-operated springassisted hinged loading ramps situated at the rear of the beaver Lail.
