LEICESTERSHIRE County Council tandem to speed up maintenance The lifts can be operated separately allowing work to two vehicles, or as a single unit to accommodate one larger vehicle up to 40ft in length, so ensuring a smooth flow through the service area where at least 20 major services are carried out each week.
HTC (Nottingham) supplied the two Koni 10-tonne foundation free lifts fitted with Nenab six-tonne jacking beams which incorporate a safety device to ensure they cannot be moved separately once switched for tandem use.
