A NEW SERVICE area has been opened at Heston on the westbound carrigeway of the M4 between Junctions 2 and 3.

Granada Motorway Services opened the site on February 17, with room for up to 60 lorries and 20 coaches.

The needs of the lorry driver have been catered for by the installation of one shower for men but there is no similar facility for women drivers.

Commercial vehicle drivers will not be segregated from other diners at the restaurant, according to Granada.
