Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RANGE of detergents specially .t"i blended for vehicle washing is being marketed by Philip Spanjer and Co., 261 Cricklewood Lane, London, N.W.2.

Products are prepared for individual customers' needs, one factor requiring consideration being variations in the hardness of local water supplies. They are available in liquid, powder or jelly form. Containers and delivery are free.

Arylan F.200 powder is used in hot water and is intended for establishments where the volume of washing is great. Arylan F.P. liquid is suitable for either hot or cold water. Equally as effective as these products, but producing a large amount of foam, Arylan S.L.20 powder can also be used in hot or cold water.

Spandolan P.C.X. liquid is similar in formula to an American shampoo, Triton X.100. Glyspan No. 1 jelly is intended for use on highly polished surfaces which are not particularly dirty.

Arylan F.200 and S.L.20 powders cost 2s. 6d. per lb.; Arylan F.P. liquid 2s. 8d.; Spandolan P.C.X. liquid. 2s. 5d.: and Glyspan No. 1 jelly, Is. 10d. Pr ices are a little higher for small quantity orders.

Messrs. Spanjer publish an informative leaflet. "Theory and Practice of Vehicle Washing," which is available on request.
