FURTHER support for the TUC General Council's views on transport are contained in resolutions listed in the 1966 Congress agenda. A TSSA resolution presses for the Minister to accept the TUC's transport policy, an NUR resolution calls upon the Government to introduce fully co-ordinated transport, and ASLEF asks that a fully integrated system, based on public ownership, be implemented to "obviate the present chaotic conditions".
A TGWU resolution calls upon Congress to reaffirm its belief in a national transport plan and declares that it would only be fully successful if based on the extension of public ownership.
