Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• AWD will launch two new trucks at Tipcon, including the long-awaited MTL33 8x6 Multidrive truck with the TL cab.

The MTL33 is designed to offer a payload of at least 20 tonnes, and is the heaviest TL model ever to be produced at Dunstable.

It will be joined on the AWD Tipcon display by the new TL 6x4 24-tonne truck, the first to be produced since 1986. Both of the new vehicles are powered by the Cummins C series 198kW (265hp) engine — the first AWD trucks to be fitted with Cummins engines as standard.

The TL 6x4 will be expected to offer an improvement on the 18.2-tonne body/payload allowance provided by its Bedford predecessor.

Should it be fitted with the same chassis as its Bedford predecessor, the AWD would offer the best body payload of any six-wheeler.

Both new trucks will be fitted with Eaton's 6140 drive axle, and will be shown with tipper bodies at Tipcon, though the MTL33 will also be offered with tanker and logging bodies (CM 15-21 February) when the vehicle is launched for sale, probably in August or September. 1:1 AWD has also announced Bedford TL2440 six-legger at Tipcon.

the promotion of Malcolm Jefferies to the position of marketing and UK sales director. Jefferies, who was previously marketing and customer service director, takes over from Sandy Young who left the company earlier this month to join his family's road haulage business in Kent.

Jefferies joined Dunstablebased AWD a year ago from Stanley Tools Europe where he was marketing manager.
