Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE FRENCH government has postponed fining LGV drivers found not to have a breathalyser kit in their cab when travelling in the country.

The €11 (£8.70) fine was due to be enforced for all drivers in France from 1 November. However, due to a lack of awareness about the change in law, the fine has been pushed back until March 2013. Breathalysers are available to buy at ferry and tunnel terminals.

Institute of Advanced Motorists director of policy and research Neil Greig said: “The rule is an attempt to reduce the number of alcohol-related accidents in France.”
