Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A bronze plaque to the memory of the late John Boyd Dunlop, the inventor and patentee 50 years ago of the pneumatic tyre, was unveiled at Fort Dunlop, on Friday of last week, by Sir George Beharrell, chairman of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., several members of the family of the inventor being present, in addition to a large number of the company's employees.

In his speech, Sir George Beharrell said that John Boyd Dunlop ranked with such great inventors as James Watt and George Stephenson, and added that the pneumatic tyre was the greatest contribution to transport since the invention of the wheel itself. He observed that, among the 21 names of famous inventors chosen by Henry Ford for commemoration in his new laboratories at Dearborn, U.S.A.. was n18 that of John Boyd Dunlop. He thought it no exaggeration to say that the pneumatic tyre was an invention which has revolutionized the daily life of the nation and has brought health and happiness to millions of people. Is it not true, he added, that rapid and safe transport has brought the peoples of the world ever nearer, and that we have an opportunity now, as never before, of reducing and removing those prejudices and fears which are often based on ignorance and misunderstanding?
