• Steve Parrish led from start to finish to take the Hungary Truck Superfinal in the Team BP Lubricants Mercedes 1750. Slim Borgudd battled through the pack to pip Frantisek Vojtisek for second and was closing fast on Parrish, but was unable to close the gap.
Austrian round winner Tho mas Hegmann was running well but got stuck behind fellow German Heinz Dehnhardt. When he finally elbowed his way through mechanical failure forced him out of the hunt. Andrew Levett, well down the grid at the start, ploughed his way through the field to take a fine fifth place.
