Peter Quick has been named as the new general manager of bulk haulage contractor Saunders Transport, part of Ocean Transport and Trading.
He succeeds Aldan Bristow, who has moved to Nigeria to take up another appointment with Ocean.
Before joining Saunders, Mr Quick was with Ocean's dis tribution company, Cory Dis tribution, most recently as warehouse and distribution manager at the new Radlett depot. He is now based at Saunders' head office in Shepperton, Middlesex.
Pickfords Heavy Haulage has announced that David Theyers is the new manager of the company's Ipswich branch, Before going to Ips wich, Mr Theyers was manager at the Southampton branch.
Peter Tillery has' been appointed chairman of the Road Transport Industrial Training Board's national advisory committee for the motor vehicle retail and repairing industry.
