IN the first -quarter of the year the number of Men employed by road passenger transport undertakings in Sheffield and district dropped by 350, and of women by 100, the local employment committee reported last week. A total of 196 persons was reeruied by the undertakings.
Sheffield Transport Department needs 100 drivers and 230 conductors.
