Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

II Thieves used a tractive unit to snatch a trailer from another truck in Barnsley this week, The incident happened at around 04:30hrs on Monday at the depot of ownerdriver firm J&S Transport, in Barugh Green, Barnsley. The thieves tried to start the J&S Transport Seddon Atkinson Strato 465. When they failed to get the vehicle running, they started up a Seddon Atkinson Strato 400, belonging to Lindbarr Freight, which was parked up at the depot.

They then attached a chain from the Lindbarr vehicle to the J&S tractive unit, managing to pull the trailer free. The burgundy Strati, 400, registration 1326 RVH, was then driven away complete with the trailer, which carried 26 pallets of food in a container. The container is blue with a yellow stripe around it, with the words United Transport. Its container identification number is BETU 136034.5.

Julie Gardham, secretary at J&S Transport, says the firm had installed several security measures on site as well as in the Strato 465. She adds: "The thieves broke the fifth wheel, smashed the indicators, the steering lock and the interior lights. If thieves want to take something then they will take it; these guys knew what they were doing."
