A SEMINAR arranged by the University of Leeds for April 13-15, 1977, covers the use of computers in many branches of transport.
Amongst the lecturers are J. Sussams (Transport Management Systems), Dr M. Christopher (Physical Distribution Management as a quantitive science), A. Pottinger (Physical Distribution Management — an example).
Lt Colonel Haynes, Royal Corps of Transport, will discuss Management Information Systems in the Services, ind D. Lewis will speak on Fleet Management in road haulage. A. Wren's subject is Bus Crew and Vehicle scheduling.
