THE entire share capital of West Coast Transports (Argyll) Ltd., and of James McPhee Ltd. has been acquired by British Road Services Ltd. Both these companies have their headquarters in Carnpbeltown.

West Coast Transports operate 17 vehicles on A and B licences, mainly in connection with a regular service between Campbeltown and Glasgow and on milk collection in the Kintyre area.

James McPhee Ltd operate six vehicles on A licence and are specialists in livestock haulage. The operations of these companies are to be merged with those of British Road Services' Argyll branch from tomorrow, March 26.

Mr. Donald Darroch, who has been manager of West Coast Transports, is to join the Campbeltown branch of BRS and will assist in the management of the depot.
