AA extends Lombard supply tie-up
VEHICLE MANAGEMENT firm Lombard has signed an Z11.6m deal to supply 167 recovery vehicles to the AA between now and the end of 2010.
The fleet of roadside recovery vehicles, which comprises of 155 Renault Midlum 220.12 Crew Cabs and 12 Mitsubishi Canters, are fleet replacements for older Midiums and lveco Dailys, and will form part of the AAs existing 2,400-truck fleet.
Sarah Dopson, fleet manager at the AA, says: The first trucks will be Euro-4; after that, all 2010's trucks will be Euro-5 compliant."
