• Temeside Self Drive, the family-owned commercial vehicle hire company, is being split up and sold off in a multimillion deal involving Interleasing and Rowsell Rental.
As part of the sale Interleasing has acquired Temeside branches in Birmingham, Bristol, Cheltenham and Wolverhampton, along with the 800 vehicles operated from the four sites, for an "undisclosed sum".
The remaining Temeside branches at Fleet in Shrewsbury, Hereford and Ludlow, along with some 300 vehicles, are to be sold to South-Coast-based Rowsell Rental at the end of June.
The sale gives Interleasing a fleet of over 3,000 vehicles operating from a network of 12 branches.
