At a meeting of the beach committee of the Bournemouth Corporation a letter from the engineer and general manager of the tramways was read, submitting particulars of three types of runabout. The committee is of opinion that none of the vehicles is siutable for use on the promenade, and deferred further consideration of the matter. In the meantime inquiries are to be made as to the class of vehicle which is in use at Fleetwood.Tags
