Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Pl.A MOBILE X-ray and laboratory unit, designed for research work, has been supplied to Manchester University by Rootes, Ltd., Manchester. It comprises a Karrier Bantam tractor and two Scammell drop-frame semi-trailers, one 20 ft. and the other 25 ft. long. Bodywork is by Homes (Preston), Ltd.

When stationary the two trailers, built to the specification of a Manchester University Health Department, arc placed end to end, forming a self-contained operational ethic more than 45 ft. long.

Bodywork consists of aluminium framing with fibreglass sides and ends. Sound and heat insulation is provided by 2-in. Polyzote. In order to keep floor height to a minimum—the clinic will be used mainly by old people—small 25 x 6 tyres have been fitted to both trailers. Water and electricity are tanned from the mains supply, although an emergency 100-g11. tank has been installed.

When in operation, the clinic will travel throughout the country, changing its location about six times a year. Because of the infrequent moves, only one tractor was considered necessary.

INSECURE LOAD-110 FINE

ALORRY driver who denied carrying an insecure load on his vehicle was told by Dudley magistrates, last week, that whether or not the load was put aboard by experts, the fact still remained that part of it fell off. They imposed a fine of £10 on the driver, Leslie Percy Shore, Hinstock. near Market Drayton. The prosecution had stated that a 34-ton steel section fell off his lorry.

Shore told the court that he was carrying three sections which had been loaded by experts at the makers' works. A metal strip holding one section snapped because of the twist on his vehicle caused by the camber of the mall.
