Henry was giving' driver Curtis a Christmas treat. For half' an hour he had been wire-pulling -by the light of an electric torch, and a thin, sleety' drizzle was nottimproving his temper. Stumbling footsteps in the darkness,did not attract his attention until a cloud of whisky vapour enveloped him and a voice said, " Washmarrer I" " Suthin' un with the blinkin' wires.
