Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

glass to concrete

• German manufacturer Langendorf has modified one of its tri-axled glass carriers to allow Norwegian haulier Tor Pedersen to transport prefab concrete building elements.

The semi-trailers are built in the form of a dry dock, with wheels carried within each pontoon-like longitudinal beam and hydraulic suspension allowing almost 600mm of movement.

Special pallets for the prefab kits have extending edges that correspond with the trailer beams' inner ledges.

To load up, the suspension is lowered and the trailer reversed under the pallet thus lifting it as the suspension is raised.

With the pallets carried only 200mm above ground level, Pedersen claims its low centre of gravity gives excellent stability. In addition loading and unloading takes only minutes.
