• Of the 99 recipients of the Queen's Award to industry. 1969. announced on Her Majesty's actual birthday last Monday, five are concerns whose Award-winning products or services are related to the commercial vehicle field. They are: CAV Ltd., London, for technological innovation in commissioning and operation of the Sudbury, Suffolk, factory for the high-volume production of injector nozzles for diesel engines. Ferodo Ltd., Chapel-en-le-Frith, for technological innovation in friction material for disc brakes.
Leslie Hartridge Ltd., Buckingham, for export achievement with diesel test and service equipment.
Lansing Bagnall Ltd., Basingstoke, for export achievement with electrical industrial trucks. Joseph Lucas (Industries) Ltd., Birmingham, for Group companies' export achievements with vehicle, aircraft and industrial equipment. CAV and Joseph Lucas are previous Award winners.
