"TRANSPORT policy in the post-Geddes -IL era" is the title of the first major paper to be given in the Institute of Transport's 1965-6 session; the paper, to be given in London on November 8, is by Mr. K. C. Turner, president of the TRTA and of the MU. On December 13 the Henry Spurrier Memorial Lecture will be given by Mr. A. E, R. Carling, of BET, his title being: "Control in passenger road transport—a view of service licensing after 35 years."
