ED PARGETER, founder and owner of EP Training in Bookham, Surrey, died suddenly last week at the age of 67. A well-known and highly respected figure in LGV training, Pargeter (pictured) set up EP Training 32 years ago. His son Sean, a director of EP Training, said: "He was a gentleman who always did things the right way and never cut corners. He had strong opinions and will be missed by everyone who knew him

The service will be at St Andrew's Church in Cobham, Surrey, on 31 October at 10.30am. The cremation will take place at Randall's Park in L,eatherhead, followed by the wake at the Royal Automobile Club in Epsom from midday.

Sean has requested no flowers, but instead donations to be made to St Andrew's Church and Oasis Family Centre, Cobham.
