Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CHRISTOPHER Morris of Raleigh Road, Bristol, a driver with UBM of Bristol is the winner of CM'S 1984 Mark Vane Award. Mr Morris, aged 27, saved three people from drowning in their car on September 26.

The judging panel awarded Mr Morris an average percentage mark of 75.3. The other seven heroes on the shortlist had marks varying from 56.3 to 72 per cent.

The winner and his nominee will visit Sweden in December accompanied by John Dennis, public relations executive of Volvo Trucks (Great Britain) and CM editor lain Sheriff. Before leaving for Sweden, Mr Morris will be presented with the Mark Vane Award — a piece of Swedish glass — at a reception in the Heathrow Sheraton Hotel.

The award is presented annually in memory of 19-yearold Mark Vane, who was killed in an accident in Kent in 1983. His ambition was to jqin four brothers in road transport.
