ANDOVER TRAILERS has designed a lightweight, centre-balance drawbar plant trailer to accommodate the additional weight of the latest Wirtgen W100FK tracked road planer.
To transport the 19.6-tonne machine behind a 6x4 tipper and remain legal. the trailer had to be
constructed with an unladen weight below five tonnes. At a length of 7.95m, it weighs in at 4.68 tonnes and features a 600mm-wide hydraulic 1: single-section ramp, with a fixed conveyor support, hydraulic steady legs, BPW axles and air suspension with raise/lower control.
