Mercedes-Benz: Truck :alers are now to offer Secu;or's Go-Phone range of cellar telephones for installation new or existing trucks. Operators fitting their vehicles with the phones have the option of limiting drivers to a list of selected telephone numbers or allowing them unrestricted use of the Cellnet service.
The Mercedes-Benz dealers can either install the sets themselves, or ask Securicor to do the work. Maintenance and service is provided by Securicor.
IN Schmidt Manufacturing and Equipment ((JK): The compact suction sweeper manufacturer, has appointed City Mechanical Service S in Belfast as its Northern Ireland distributor.
City Mechanical Services is part of the Christie Organisation. Another subsidiary, Christie Brothers, will retain the service and spares franchise for Schmidt in Northern Ireland.
