Coventry, is one of the winners of the Royal Society of Arts' automotive design competition. His was one of the winning designs for urban and rural northern and southern hemisphere minibuses. and he wins a .R400 travel bursary.
His Porta design is based on the Renault Master van and makes maximum use of space by seating passengers in rows of three. His design of the ticket issuing system, storage facilities, grab handles and mechanics impressed the judges.
