This German concern has gained a reputation of its own on the Continent, in that its productions have been adopted by the German War Office and many of the Continental municipal authorities. The models which are exhibited are typical examples of the company's productions, one of them consisting of acwt. torpedo delivery van. Upon inspection the engine gave evidence of the high-class quality of this construction, the b.h.p. of the unit being 26. The transmission is by means of cardan shaft and live axle. A point of special interest is that Vanadium steel is used throughout the construction of the transmission, Another feature which will appeal to many is that the differential brake is capable of being readily adjusted from outside the body. The gearbox is provided with four speeds and reverse. The bodywork impresses us as being a particularly fine job, being of the company's exclusive design.

Another exhibit is an 8-10 cwt. express delivery van, built to the order of Stollwercke Bros., the chocolate people, who already have a large fleet of machines constructed by this manufacturer. The exclusive design of the body makes it particularly suited to the work for which it is intended, detachable shelves being fitted. Finished in natural wood, and highly varnished, it is an equipment that should appeal to users of this class of machine. it is fitted with a 1014 h.p. engine, and the price complete, fitted with Continental pneumatics, is £310. The two remaining exhibits are a 30 h.p., three-ton lorry, and a five-ton lorry, either of which is capable of drawing a trailer with a light load. Both these lorries are built to the German War Office specifications for transport purposes. Interested readers will find a full description of the five-tonner in a recent issue. The cast-steel wheels seem to be quite up to their work, and are shod with Continental solids.
