Three exhibits only are staged by the Argyll Co., one of these being a 20 h.p. chassis for two-ton loads. This fact should be noted most carefully by those who are inclined to cavil at the use of worm. gearing. From the theoretical point of view it may or may not have •certain disadvantages, but the fact remains that from the practical point of view it has proved to be perfectly sound. The Argyll chassis shown at Olympia is a capital example of present-day practice, and visitors to the Show who are contemplating the purchase of a vehicle of its capacity should certainly not pass over its claims for inspection,
