41 Braking distribution and anti-locking devices, aerodynamic drag of light and heavy vehicles, a survey of infinitely variable automatic gearboxes and engine/transmission/ vehicle matching are included in some 13 subjects to be covered in a forthcoming one-week course. The course has been arranged by Loughborough University of Technology. Department of Transport Technology, arid will be held from Jan. 27 to Jan. 31 at the university.
The organizers say that the course is particularly suitable for technicians who are starting work on vehicle performance and for those who have had practical experience in the vehicle industry and who wish to bring their theoretical knowledge up to date. The course is residential and the inclusive fee is £40.
